Position Overview:
This full-time Drafter position is ideal for a self-motivated individual who is eager to be at the forefront of developing our new CFMF shop drawing department.
The successful candidate will not only have the opportunity to produce detailed shop drawings but will also play a crucial role in training and guiding our staff in drafting these specialized products.
This position offers significant growth potential as we build and expand this new department.
Responsibilities:
Create accurate and detailed CFMF shop drawings in alignment with project specifications and industry standards.
Collaborate with the engineering and design teams to ensure the integrity and quality of drawings.
Provide expertise and guidance in CFMF projects, acting as a go-to resource for the team.
Develop and implement training programs for staff to enhance their skills in CFMF drafting.
Manage and oversee projects related to CFMF from conception through completion, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met.
Continuously seek ways to improve processes and techniques to enhance productivity and efficiency in the CFMF department.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in drafting CFMF shop drawings, with a portfolio of previous work.
Proficient in relevant drafting software (e.
g.
, AutoCAD, Revit).
Strong understanding of construction processes, engineering principles, and CFMF systems.
Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to train and mentor staff.
Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality in all work.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Relevant educational background in engineering, architecture, or a related field is preferred.
